CULLEN

Cullen is a pretty seaside village at the eastern end of Cullen Bay. It is a traditional fishing village on the Moray Firth and a popular destination for a relaxing seaside holiday.

Local activities include walking, hiking, biking and golf.

Cullen has a picturesque harbour and a long sandy beach. Local coastal walks to Sunnyside Beach and Findlater Castle ruins are very enjoyable.

MORAY FIRTH

Famous for our resident population of dolphins, the Moray Firth is one of the best places in Europe to see these creatures in the wild, making it one of the best areas in the UK for marine enthusiasts.

The name of this soup comes from Cullen! Cullen skink is without a doubt one of Scotland’s most famous dishes.

It is a hearty broth that is traditionally made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions and made rich with milk or cream.

Best served with a healthy spoonful of the potato, leek and haddock mixture in each bowl, and a generous sprinkling of chives!
